Lost spaces
Locker drawings over lockers.
A strong sense of presence was created by leaving only the drawn locker in true colour. The handles on the original locker doors also helped the viewer realise that they were observing a drawing on an object rather than on the wall.
Some lockers were drawn with open and closed doors, others from the reverse side of the metal structures. The drawn lines on the lockers were all seen with correct perspective from one angle, all other views appeared distorted and warped.
Lost Spaces was displayed at The Phoenix in Brighton, in response to their location.
