Two Ladders or one.

 

 

As you move around the space, the tape outline moves and distorts as a three-dimensional drawing. By fixing two views of the ladder (one black, the other grey) the two drawings interact with the surface on which they are drawn. It can be viewed as a ladder with a shadow or seen as if the shadow becomes the ladder.
