A workshop in response to artist Victor Pasmore.

 

Victor Pasmore is one of the most recognised abstract artists in Britain. His paintings and prints were exhibited at The Charleston Farmhouse Gallery in Firle, as part of the Summer Festival.

 

The exhibition was used as inspiration for a series of prints using mixed media - ink, rollers, screen printing and paint, documenting a journey through the house and gardens.

 

Charleston Farmhouse was the home of two of the most important, influential artists of the twentieth century – Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. It was the country retreat of the group of individuals known as Bloomsbury which included Vanessa Bell’s sister Virginia Woolf.
